Hey everyone. My factory cd player wont spit out my cd. It's been this way for a few days but im finally going to try to fix it. When I hit eject I can hear it trying to push the disc out but then reads disc error after it fails. Any advice is great. Thanks.

Hey I had he same problem when I had my factory unit. I never had it fixed, I just bought an after market unit. I think mines use to get hung up in slot 5 if i'm not mistaken. I don't know what to tell you on going about getting it fixed. I just got so frustrated and replaced it.

Mine has done this a few times. I stick a key into the slot and push down on the top edge of the CD while its trying to eject and it usually comes right out. One of these days ill take it apart and really figure out what exactly causes it to stick.

same problem here. i found that if you stick another cd ON TOP while its trying to eject and kinda force the stuck CD down, it'll catch the roll and spit it out. basically what happens is that the piece that rolls to slide the CD out doesnt get enough grip on the CD so it spins without moving the CD. i got an after market (AVIC D-3) head unit and dont have issues (duh). you should look into getting something too...it'll fix your problem before you have to break a CD or the CD deck itself.

Yup, gently push down on the top side of the disc, my old Jimmy did this too (aftermarket of course). What could be the cause (just a guess based on my experience with photocopiers) but there could be some dust collecting around the base of the roller that doesn't allow it to spin correctly, so the motor makes noise but nothing spins. Again, that's just a guess but, I have experienced that with a photocopier not pushing the paper because of dust.
