Factory cd changer

My in trunk changer worked fine until I loaded 10 disc in it for my long trip.... Now it doesn't play. Just cycles the discs and says "0033" on the display. Anyone have a working changer they would sell me cheap? Or any idea how to fix it?

Buy CD reading technology that isn't two decades behind the times.

Or get a flash memory head unit. CDs themselves are behind the times.

I have a changer that works, i cant use it with my new head unit.

You'll just have to buy another CD changer. Every time one breaks, be on the look out for another one.

How much you want for that spare CD unit. I have a 95 MK that I just bought with 37,000 original miles on it, and mine plays, sometimes!

My buddy has a 96 Continental that is going to the bone yard. Can I take his changer and use it in the MK VIII? I see the plug is different... Can I splice the harnesses together at the changer? Will this work? Thanks guys.
