Has anyone ever heard about problems with an EZPass transmitter not working in a LS? On the EZPass website for PA they mention the possibility that the windshield could block the signal. For reference, I have an 01, original windshield. Thanks!

does the transmitter really have to be on the windshield as you see them most of the time?

(i do not use ezpass and have never experimented when driving a car with it)

I don't keep it on the windshield of the LS - I can't stand the way it stands out. I just hold it up near the windshield and it works just fine.

do you have to hold it up as youre driving through the toll? i suppose i should i have worded my question differently. that is what i meant.

will it not register if you had it in the glove compartment or console, for example?

Yeah it might not register if the two don't see each other

Our state is great, now there monitoring the speed in which you pass through the gate at and if its too high they send you a speeding ticket!

My TxTag works fine. I have it mounted to the left of the rear view mirror.

I don't need to use mine all the time. I have one of those holders that suction cup to the windshield. I put it to the right of the rear view mirror and it works fine.

I just took a trip into Wisconsin and back and had no problems.

Same here. Like NYC LS8, I can't stand the look of that thing permanently attached so I use the suction cup holder too. This also allows me to easily switch it from the LS to the Explorer if need be.
