i don't know why but my b pillar allways looks like krap!! if it's not fingerprints (which doesnt bother me that much) its hard water spots, or if i go through those touchless car washes i get a crazy rainbow water spotted looking thing. i want to know what everyone cleans that piece with. i have tried everything i can think of but nothing seems to work for me! am i crazy or does anyone else know what i am talking about??:Bang

Use some decent quality wax. That will clean them and protect from all the nasties they seem to attract.

I use meguiars step 2 and step 3 and they look better. I have decided not to do those touchless carwashes anymore b/c of the rainbow effect that the pillars have after the wash.

i jsut clean them with windex when i clean the windows, haha it does the job and makes them clean. you just have to touch them up every week or so

I just painted mine!

The B pillar covers on the 00-02 models are known to fade in the sun. I've seen some really dingy ones, all due to sun and heat exposure. The 03+ cars are supposed to have improved B-pillar paint.

For cleaning, I would treat the pillars with paint cleaning clay, and then wax or sealant. Replacements are fairly inexpensive from the dealer, so if your covers are in bad shape, you may want to simply replace them and start with a fresh set.

Good luck!
