There have been some vehicle break-in's in the area, wheels stolen etc. There is a red blinking light on my dash, so there is some sort of alarm. My car will be leaving the garage and parked outside...

1) What do you guys think of these?
2) Anyone use these specific ones, or recommend a better set?

(I can't really tell what brand these are although it says Lincoln in the description. This mentions 2006 LS in the details, I have a '02 LS8 Sport w/Chrome 17" stock wheels).

Thanks in advance for checking.

They might be the factory lug nuts. I ordered some Gorilla lug locks from Amazon. Gorilla is suppose to be a well known brand in the lug locks industry.

Since they are listed by Tasca, I would bet they are OEM Ford parts.

That said, Gorilla on Amazon is a good choice. I have gotten regular lugnuts from DPaccessories on eBay and been quite happy with them, so you can check them out too.

I've got a set of factory Ford wheel locks (for Mustang made by McGuard) that look pretty much identical to those that I couldn't use with my aftermarket wheels. They are brand-new.

I'll let 'em go for $15.00 plus shipping.

Old thread revival: I just moved, previous locking lug nuts I linked to before in the thread above are no longer available. Needed some locking lug nuts.

I just ordered these for $11.99 for a set of 4:

Dorman 711-327 Mag Short Shank Wheel Lug Nut Lock Kit: Lincoln LS Lug 12 x 1.50

(Would have liked to have the washer permanently attached, but for $12 it's a cheap deterrent to theft. Needs a 19mm socket/wrench).

Dorman 611-117 lug nuts for the non locking lugs are already installed, so this Dorman wheel lug nut lock kit should be perfect.

Wow, I was just about to dig to find a "theft deterrent" lug nut. This couldn't come at a more perfect time. Thanks man!

Yes, this is also very timely as I just PM'd LDM on this topic a day or 2 ago. I am getting the Dorman's tonight!
