so finally was able to get this thing on web.
the Univ web service does not allow mp3 so you need to download the txt files (right click, then save) then change the .txt extension for .mp3
everyone has been putting in the sound clip for the upgraded exhaust without the stock. well, here it is.
my LSE is 3.9L V8 so stock isnt too bad.
but after hearing the stock and try the flowmaster's hushpower II.
Im getting a resonator on later this week. It's bit too loud for my taste.

Very nice...it's great to finally hear exhaust clips. Everyone likes to TALK about how an exhaust sounds but...until you can hear it...it's just that...talk.

Nice...

I haven't heard the clip, but is it with airbox or without?

I run the Mag with KKM filter and yes, it is a major difference.

To those considering a new cat back system, be sure you also get straight tips. If not, all the exhaust notes will resonate back into the trunk- and therefore into the car. The straigh tips will eliminate that by sending the sound straight out.

so you took off the factory resonator and mufflers and put on the flows.

It sounds great from the clip

I like the tone of those, if only they were a tad cheaper.

Has anyone tried flowmaster 50 series delta flow? Looking for a deep tone, but not gt mustang loud. I saw a grand marquis with 40 series, and thought it to be rather excessive. Otherwise, I may just go with dynomax after hearing the clip from pete02lse.

Also, what about just replacing the mufflers, and leaving stock piping?
