Exhaust tips out the back question

Hi, i have a 2002 lincoln ls and i want to put exhaust tips out the back but i dont have cut outs in my bumper, i was wondering if there was a certain way i had to aline my muffler or something inorder to make them go out the back. the only thing i would want to cut is the black plastic liner under the bumper. any suggestions?

as for the location for the cut outs... all depends on where your new exhaust will hang, and that depends on your set up... If your having a shop do it. they should help you with the location....

I know it was talked about yesterday G-RELL but i want mine to look like yours. i dont want to cut my actual bumper. i just want them to look like yours where u shaved the black under the bumper.. u know what i mean?

here are some shots of my car, I only cut through the black trim under the bumper. If your car is lowered more than eibachs the tips do hit coming out of steep driveways.

Then install the exhaust and see where its going to come out.... You may have to rig up a new hanger but just line it up where u want them.... Then tape. Draw circle , dremel out.... If you can't hang it where u want ... May have to have an exhaust shop help..... May want to call and price it anyway. Might be cheaper in the long run.
