exhaust tips jet hot coated.

Thinking about different ways to finish the exhaust tips. Got a quote to get them jet hot coated black. Cost: $65 plus shipping.

What I do not know is if the jet hot coating is going to be smooth or textured, or how glossy it will be. It's a ceramic coating, so I'd imagine it will have a very slight texture.

Think it's a good idea?

i think it would be nice to try something different, but on the other hand i think it my be kind of dull looking and possibly be textured, my dad was going to do this on his motorcycle but decided not to since it would be very glossy

no use just a regular paint brush, the brush strokes will give it that special touch that no one else has

The company Jet Hot is about 30-45 mins away from me and I had a set of headers on my motorcycle coated by them. The black is like a semi-gloss and will reflect the surface underneath, meaning if the surface is smooth then so will it be after its coated. I did it because it dropped the heat coming off the headers which helped out during the hot summers. They can do it in a bad ass silver if you do the headers and it will drop the temperature of them 100+ degrees. Good luck!!
