Exhaust tip help for 2000

I got the Magnaflow kit installed just the other day and I was wondering what size tips I should get and how the hell you guys over came the anoying exhaust tip rear valance issue.

Sorry I know that this doesnt answer your question, but I want to get an exhaust on my Ls and I was wondering where you got it from, how much you paid, and how much was installation? Let me know if you got the time. thanks

Cut the rear valance to fit the tips.

Thats what I have in mind but I just wanted to find some others that had this issue and see exactly how they did it. I also don't have any idea on how I should go about cutting the tips on the exhaust pipe seeing on how they bend down I thought the new tips may not fit correctly. I would just take it to the shop I had the exhaust done at but they are part of Jack Williams Tire ( Auto Addictions ) and for some reason don't really want to cut into my valance.


BlackBalLs: I got it done at Auto Addictions and payed about $650 with labor. Got a good deal cause I worked with them lots of times before and give some good referals for other customers.

Thanks! That actually helps out alot since I wanna use round dual tips. I guess I can PM him and ask for any specific advice. Will they fit over the bent tip with out cutting them off?
