Hey all I’m new to the LS scene as ive mostly driven older Bimmers but I have a question regarding my 2005 V8.
After fixing the common coil issue and getting rid of the misfire my cats commited suicide after another 2000 miles. I have ordered the direct fit magnaflow cats for $520 and was planning on having my exhaust guy just install that, delete the resonators and muffler, and put some slightly wider exhaust tips after running straight pipe.
The goal would be to get it to sound like this:
After some reading the forums I see an X pipe or H pipe is reccomended. Could I achieve the sound in that video without those? Or is it an issue of losing power?
