You would need load resistors to stop them from dimming and allow them to shut down properly. It is no big deal, they don't draw much power when at full bright so they definitely wont kill the Bat before you get to start the car again.

FWIW, I am running an LSK intake and a complete cat back Magnaflow system. I believe the sound is ideal for a car like an LS.
