Im wanting to put 2006 mustang gt mufflers on my 2004 3.9 ls. it seems like it would have perfect tone. any suggestions?

What are the dimensions of the mufflers?

But why? Are you getting them for a steal or something? I think you'd be better off going with magnaflow or bassani.

im sure about the dimension, but they are $125 on ebay. and my friend has gt exhuast on his 2005 v6 and it sounds great. im sure i could make them work right?

The tone will not be the same as the mustang. The exhaust tone is caused by the size of the cylinders, valve openings and several other factors. Just because a muffler sounds good on one car doesn't mean it will sound the same on another car. Most times they sound totally different

but the price seems good cause they are tipped already. Im looking for a moderate tone, nothing like a flowmaster they are too loud. Any suggestions?

youtube exhaust ls clips... you could find an aftermarket setup to sound just as good....

BUT, will it fit, you would need to know their size first... is it worth 125, I wouldn't think so, will it sound the same, I doubt that too

Your generalizing exhaust's too much. an LS with resinators left on is a very soft tone...

Do what you want, but I think if you spent a little more time looking and researching, you'll find something better... But hey, its your money, If your sold on the mustang mufflers, get them...Just dont be surprised if they sound the same as the LS's

so if i dont bypass them, will i notice a change in my exhaust if i go with magnaflows?
