Exhaust advice: Unsure which way to go '03 V8

I swapped my mufflers with magnaflow and threw on 4 inch tips. I don't see any noticeable gains but it does sound a bit deeper although I want it a tad louder. I'm used to fairly loud exhaust from the cars I've dealt with in the past (Camaro/Chevelle). I don't want the Lincoln to sound like a Camaro but I'm hoping the x-pipe makes it a bit louder. I plan on replacing the mid muffler/res with a magnaflow 2.25 x-pipe at some point...

Oh ok awesome, that's pretty much what I had in mind. Interesting about the differences in exhaust piping diameter between the Gen2s though... hmm.

Also what tips are those? They fit the cutouts perfectly!
