Everyone pitch in for a plane ticket for me to Japan so I can go there and gank all theyre 2 tone gen 1 taillights!


I would seriously KILL for a pair of them, I cant find them anywhere :(
Lets hit up the jap's junkyards :D
 
I've been on yahoo japan and ebay japan....can't find anything...I'm about to give up....I know where a set is in texas though....:D
 
I think we used to have a member that was military stationed in Japan...but I have not seen them in a bit.
 
2 toned? What happened to everyone hating the gen 2 tail lights? So only gen 1 outside the US had the 2 tone lights?
 
Hell no, I love the 2 tone, totally "updates" the look of the ass of the LS....well depending on what color, I think the 2 tones look best with dark colors like black ;)

Someone get me the part number for the lights anfd I can check at work to see if I have them. The company I work for deals in discontinued parts for the oem's. Sometimes we are the only place in the world with stock.

If the part number is a Lincoln OEM number, then Maxx at 5 Star should be able to find it.

Calm down brian they are not that tight and they definitely aren't worth the trouble or money.
 
I agree about the money, but I'm not worked up, and they're "tightness" is a matter of ones opinion and in my opinion they indeed are very "tight"
 
I would say that to me they are not worth the money. But if one has that type of disposable income, then who are we to say what is and is not a waste of his money?

That was kind of my point. I've been reading a lot of this kid's posts (there sure are lots of them...I just joined last night and most of the recent posts involve him). It's readily apparent that he cannot afford a frivolous mod like this when in one post he's telling us about a bad transmission (and he can't afford much to spend on that) and another about his car throwing codes. All that being said, he's a 17 year old senior in high school that owns two SUVs and a Lincoln so he's got the money somewhere. Most kids are lucky to have one car in high school.

I do have the disposable income and feel $900 for tails, no matter how rare they are is a complete rip off for any car unless it's some sort of rare collectible. Even for 1/2 that, the money would go a lot further in other areas. How much does a used transmission go for anyhow?
