Erg Insufficient Flow Question 2003 V6

I had the egr code show up a bit ago and started by cleaning my egr valve. This however didn't solve the problem. I did notice i had a cracked hose near by. My question is would this affect the egr code. it doesn't seem to be related, other than its also attached to the intake. Also is there anything elel to check before spespend the coin on a new egr valve

I can't promise it is or isn't related, but why wouldn't you fix the problems that you can see before doing anything else?
