I think you should start the thread over and instead of people nominating themselves, people could nominate the members car they want to see as the Car of the Month.
After 100 posts the top 5 mentioned members could be the 5 finalists.
Start a voting thread then.

Has anyone actually plotted out some OFFICIAL rules?
I agree with 02LSE96LSC91SE84TC, and make it a official monthly thread with no chit chat.
Post proper pics of the car with formatted vehicle specs. Its not even that hard to format it. Just use the aligning tools in the message windows tool bar area

Maybe we can do both. Nominees and Entries Someone can nominate u or u can enter your self. if someone nominates another person the person who is nominated has to accepted it or they wouldn't be able to go into the contest.

I think some rules should be such as
*Nominees/Entries should have at least 50 posts in this forum.
*Nominees/Entries should have at least 3 pictures of their car.
*Nominees/Entries should have a List of the current Mods (if stock just write Stock)

Suspension / Brakes:
Appearance:
Audio:

The prize...i really would like to have the winner featured on the forum so that everyone can see them..not just the LS owners. Maybe on the home page have a side with the winners picture and info on the car and little history about the car. But that up to the admins or who ever owns this forum. Maybe some one could talk to the person and see if they would do that for us..

Another thing i'll like to see is some certain type of photos of the car (which outkast3100 said) but i think that would be little hard for some people to get photos example a pic of the car driven down a street or what ever.

Also with the pics lets not just have the exterior of the car lets have some photos of the inside or system in ur truck they don't have to be all exterior photos lets get some shots of the inside
