Engine running Rich?

When I start my car in the mornings, (cold start). I get a strong smell of gas vapors. Does this mean my car is running too rich? Anyway to troubleshoot that?

Check the hose on the evap tray located under the trunk. Sometimes the relay goes bad and you will have strong gas fumes. Is it a gen 2?

I moved that evap hose that's under the trunk.. Just zip tied it to the nearest lower bumper mount

On my gen 2 it was my maf sensor. I got it at napa for 130 dollars. It took care of the fumes smell and it shot off my check engine Light. Good luck... Good thing there's people here with much knowledge that would help you out.

I have a MAF sensor here. I ordered it a couple of years ago, changed it out and the car started after several tries, and idled like crap. Had to put the old one back in just to get the car started again.
