Engine Power Reduced

Yesterday My LS Was Running Hot, And Right Before I Kould Get Out
Of The FAST Lane. The Information Center Read "Engine Power Reduce."
So Pulled Over Sat For An Hour and Half. Then Drove Home.
Put Coolant In The Tank And Been Fine So Far. So My Question Is,
How Can I Get That POWER Back Or Did It Come BacK With The Coolant?????

If you're serious though, the car reduces power to prevent any damage. As soon as temps return to normal, the engine will run as it did previously.
