Engine / Motor Mounts

Hey guys,

I've had an intermittent misfire for the past couple weeks and finally took care of it tonight. During which time, I discovered that my driver's side motor mount is bad. I can't believe I didn't feel the thing moving, but after seeing the engine move, now I notice it. Anyway, I did a bit of searching but there really isn't much on the topic. I emailed the Chuck guy that makes the solid mounts, but someone else had contacted him a few weeks ago and it looks like it may be a while before he makes another run of them. Does anyone know of a better aftermarket motor mount choice? Also, is it an okay idea to run a solid mount in a Mark? I have mods, and I'm not worried about a Lincolnish ride, I have already sacrificed some of that in the name of performance. Any help is really appreciated.

Get the solid mounts over the hydraulics. I bought mine at supercouperperformace but you may be able to find them elsewhere like rockauto
