Engine Idle Stumble: 2000 LS

My buddy bought a 2000 model v8 and it has a serious "stumble" when idling as well as when driving. The idle/air fuel control valve and 8 new fuel injectors have been put in and the problem persists. It's not throwing any codes but could he be looking at a coil issue? I drove it and there's something definitely not correct with it.

Thoughts?

Always, always replace all coils and plugs for a problem like this before trying anything more serious, like injectors.

My apologies....it did have two dead injectors in it. That is why those got changed.
