Engine Grounding - Need Advice

I'm trying to replace the engine ground strap. How the hell do you get to the bolt? Is it a 15mm are there any tricks to getting to this? Are there alternative spots that would be suitable for the engine ground strap?

I had to replace mine when I replaced the engine, so that made it easy cuz the engine was out. I didn't think it looked like it would be that hard to get to when installed though. I guess I could be wrong. I would think that anywhere on the block would be a good enough ground if you can't reach the normal spot.

Screw it. went off the alternator bolt. just cant get a wrench to the main ground bolt. what was ford thinking with doing that. those bastards.
