engine failsafe

ok what the hell is this?? i'm driving down the road about 35 MPH and the car goes into this engine failsafe mode. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GOING TO COST ME?? I turned the car off and it went away, or did it?? What happened

You should have a CEL, take it to Autozone or other auto parts store that will read the codes for free, with out the code information it is anyones guess as to what is wrong or cost.

You might want to give more information on the LS like year and number of cylinders.

More than likely it will happen again.
