Engine Cranks but wont start!!!

My 2000 Lincoln LS V8 will not start. The car cranks but will not start. This happened after I changed the secondary timing chain, tensioners and the guides, replaced fuel filter, spark plugs, coil packs still no start. Ran the codes, no codes. I took it to the dealer, replaced battery reprogrammed the PATS keys, they claim that the engine is messed up but I never started it up yet and they clam it will never start, has good compression, there is no fire in the spark plugs what else should I check for?

Is it timed right? And it's COPs (coil on plug).. not coil packs..

As far as I know... yes these are non intrusive engines! If the timing is off it will mess up the valves! The chains have some slack because the tentioners are not primed. The engine should still fire up even if the timing is off, it would miss or backfire.

Well, if it's so far out of time it is sync'd with the other side, it won't run..

Sorry man.. I was Soo tiered last night I skipped over that last sentence.. if you have no spark, then I would look more along the lines of the pcm.. or maybe crank/cam position sensor.. I can't look up exactly cause I'm on my phone..

+1 on crank sensor. Are you getting fuel pressure? inertia switch tripped? Are you getting signal to your injectors?

I totally skipped all of that last night and read that he was getting spark and fuel and air.. most likely not the timing.. def check what pektel said..

No fire in the spark plugs? So no spark?
+1000 on crank sensor. Hopefully you had removed it to insert the key to hold the crank in place while doing the tensioner work, and just forgot to bolt it back on.
I just did the full chain job, and that's about all I messed with that would have stopped spark. As long as you plugged everything back together correctly.....
Double check all the intake and vacuum lines. If you forgot one, that could cause a big enough leak that it's too lean to fire.

Hey guys it finally got started, I took it to the dealer, it was the PCM. it runs okay but it had a dead miss in cynder 5 so imal have them work on that!

Pektel just had the same thing.. Almost 1k to diagnose and fix..
