engine code p0460

got this code pulled off computer, searched forum but didn't see anything on this one. it was p0460 and says it is fuel level sending unit. anyone else run into this or replace this or anything. any help is appreciated thanks

It's in the fuel tank.

There is an access door under the rear seat.

Does the car run fine?
Does the gas gauge work?

car is running and gauge seems to be correct....but im confused on why error code is up..check engine light came on so i had the code pulled from the computer

The LS has two fuel level senders, both in the gas tank, one on the left and the other on the right. It sounds like there may be an issue with one of them.

It's emissions related because the gas tank vent test algorithm needs to know how much gasoline is in the tank to run correctly.

is there a way to tell which side is bad? i pulled the seat out..is that what the two black covers are for? if so they seem pretty hard to get out...

Does your fuel gauge work all the way from empty to full, or does it only go to 1/2 tank?

thanks for the help with this matter...these cars are so damn brittle seems like always something to work on
