Has anyone ever had the plastic cover chromed? I saw a car at some show that had all the underhood plastic chromed, he said he had it done at a place that specializes in chroming plastic. I don't know how it works but I bet it would look pretty decent.

Yep. Mine's in the trash for the same reason.

But I wish I would have kept it, didn't have a scratch fade or blemish on it. And I just threw it away.
