I can't get my friggin DS wiper blade back on......Just copped the Rain X ones, PS went on fine...DS is a no go....

Do I use the Big Attachment that was on the blade or do I use the small one that came extra with the wiper.

Use the same one that went on the passenger side. Smaller one I believe. But then again my blades are from FoMoCo so it may be different. But logic would tell you to use the same one as on the passenger side.

I would tend to agree. I recently replaced the wipers with some Michelin ones and they were pretty straightforward. The DS wiper is obviously longer than the PS but IIRC they both use the same size connector to attach to the arms.

read the instructions on the wiper blade box.. i looked mine over when i did mine and it went by fine.. it's something i would have to look at again to jog my memory..

i do remember that the LS ones kinda snap into place..
 
I'm obviously a dumbass since I had to post the thread, and I agree with the logic.....but, I still can't the damn thing on...lol...I fail at life....

emm.. what dont u get? maye u should go inside a discount auto parts and ask the guy to do it for u? I know a couple body shops that might do it for u.. j/k


what exactly is the problem? where are u stuck? which one is giving u problem? what peices do u have ? are u sure nothing broke when u were takin off the original blades?
 
I'm a :q:q:q:qin moron, we can end this thread now....I so don't know why I didn't just do this from the beginning, that is look at how the other one is on, since I got that one on.....after looking at the ps one for about 3 seconds, I spent the next 4 seconds clipping the DS one on with no issues....

Glad this ordeal is over, and I can go back to my sense of accomplishment....I win.....kinda...:rolleyes:

i am also dave. i am also a dumbass (at least a majority of the time). i cant figure out how to get my bosch icons to attach. anyone know?
 
Awesome, I'm not the only retard....

Mine took the small connectors for both....If I can, I'll take pics..lol..
 
i too thought the wipers went on a little strange. i figured it out though, eventually....


but dave, think your a dumbass? a few years ago I changed my wipers when it was 15 degrees out. I had the wiper arm up with the blade off and I bumped the arm. (the spring loaded arm!) It flew down and hit my windshield and put a nice spider crack in it. in a week it cracked across the windshield up to the middle and was curving back around.

now every time I change my wipers I put a thick folded up towel on the windshield and try not to raise the arm up at all....

lol

btw I do same thing with the typing the same word twice or skipping a a word.
