That's very cool, make sure you put 255/40/18 tires. With that offset even a lowered LS will clear well. The 225 tires that come with it will be too small and narrow for the LS.

Not at all, just a hair small but not too small. Most 8.5's come with 235 tires.
 
I might do that size next or stay at 235 and go with a 40 or... I dont know Im fine with the width of tire I just want sidewall.
 
They were delivered this afternoon and are on the car. They stick out further than I thought they would, but oh well. They look pretty nice, IMO, and are a bear to wax! I think they would look better with 255/40s as the 245s are a little narrow on the 8 1/2" wide wheel. My daughter has the car so pictures will have to wait.

Here is my old pic with the +38 on a 8.5 with 235's. IMO its a great fit but I want more sidewall. No poke, almost flush. To me its hard to get a better looking fitment than this unless you have the same specs. No poke and it dont look like you are riding on bicycle rims 4"+ in the opposite direction from the fender.

I cant wait to see!

One more thing. I can't recommend this company enough! Excellent communication and customer service. As you know the LS is very sensitive to balance issues. These tires/wheels are balanced better than Discount Tire has done! Up to 90 with no vibration or nibble.

If you want/need new wheels, get them from jett_sale2003 on ebay! You won't be disappointed!
