Ebay Hid Kits...

Bought a CHEAP HID kit from ebay. $95 for 9006 10,000k HIDs with 1 year warranty. If it brakes after a year ill just buy a new one. Anyways, instead of getting some xenon match halogens for my fogs i decided to go with the extreme colors. So the 10,000k HID kit with Yellow Fogs... Open for opinion. If it looks rice im taking them out. So what do you guys think??


Oh yeah i also got some LED's for my license plate, how do I remove the covers to install the lights?
 
different.. that HID top with orange bottom is the "JDM" look.. the fogs are kinda big.. i think it would look better with '03+ fogs on..
 
Yeah i was also thinking about getting the round fogs. I first wanted to see how the yellow fogs looked first before i went with the round. If it looks any rice i might as well get another HID kit for another $95 and throw them on the fogs.
 
i got some hid's from ebay as well and they are great. i got them for top and bottom and i've bought more than 8 pairs from that company already. they're really not cheap lights but still they're from ebay. u got any piks?
 
Yes please post some pics.

I have been wanting HID's for a while now. I have thought about getting some off ebay but I am quite the perfectionist and must have the quality. Please post reputable companies/individuals to buy from off ebay.
If I do get the HID's for the lows it will most likely be from LSK since Ken just put his best ones on sale here. It wouldn't hurt to put yellow HID's in the fogs too... I could deal with some lesser quality ones for those though.

So many things to do to the LS and so little time.
 
im not even sure on the quality of this kit, im expecting it to brake after a year. If it brakes sooner. WARRANTY. If it brakes tho and i really like the HID's then ill buy some higher quality kit, after warranty expires and they take a crap, prob get a McCulloch from http://www.ultrabrightlights.com/ or do the projector retrofit.

sorry about the long post...
I bought an "ebay" HID for my fogs and I have the Digital kit from LSK. The LSK kit Ignites and gets to running temp a lot faster than the "ebay kit". Plus the Lsk kits craftsmanship is much better . the ebay kit had some wires swaped in the connector so I had to contact them about and they wanted me to pay a $50 depoit on a new Ballast and if the ballast wasnt bad they would have kept the cash. So before I sent it back I just happen to look at the two connectors and I had recieved it with the red and the black wires swaped that goes into the factory connector so I flipped them and it worked fine but it was still a pain dealing with them. The only reason I didnt Buy 2 LSK kits was that I couldnt see spending like $850 on lows and fogs.
 
I have asked and asked and asked again.... Were do you guys place your ballasts? I had two hid kits and they all ways gave me problems. They would burn the bulbs, then the ballasts would act up and sometimes they would stay on as if the car chasis was being used as a ground or something... I dont know...

Good Question, I was in ther erecently for an angel eye install (but that's another story) and didn't see too many good spots to mount HID ballasts.

What was the seller's name adrian? I can't get anything out of the link.

well, the product was removed for some reason, i think because of the new shipping policy. ebays going through some changes
