i was unfortunately unable to see the ebay item in the original post. i too am looking for an air intake. ive looked on ebay a little, but ive heard these were not very good. heres a link to one...

Check www.autospeedstore.com they make an intake kit that comes with the snorkel tube and a Original K&N Filter

ive seen those types on ebay too. i really dont like the look of that chrome though. would you say this type is better?

well im not a chorme lover myself so when i receive mine which i plan to order this week i am going to have it powdercoated black so it can stand the stock look

I don't really care about the whole brand, synonym deal because I'll take out any of those civics in my "old person car" as my friends say. That sure bursts their (civic drivers) bubble, and teaches them that they aren't the sh*t.

Too bad you live in TX, you could get smoked by my buddies fully built vtec and then get embarrassed by my other buddies boosted d16. Tear on rice all you want, they will walk you all day. 01 vette, modded viper gts, modded 350 z, fully built talon TSi, 2 stage3 srt4's, TT rx7, 95 civic si(d16 sohc swap @ 20 lbs), 01 civic si built, 2 gti vr6's, jetta vr6

all those are my buddies cars, the boosted civic is the fastest, next to the two stage 3 srt4's(yeah they romped the viper)
