Dynomax Bullets VS Glasspacks

So Friday I found an exhaust shop to set up the 98 base with a real dual exhaust for $300. They were the only shop that I could find that was cool with removing the dreaded 3rd cat. They also fabbed up a quality H-pipe for me. I went with 2 1/4 & saved a few bucks. I thought it would be a little quieter than my 95 was with 2.5 & an X. Nope, just as loud. I need to tone it down a notch. I know a few of you guys have mentioned the bullets in the past.
My question is, will there be any difference in sound levels between the bullets & plain old glasspacks?
They're both pretty cheap but I want to go with the quieter option, even if it is just a small difference.
Any experiences with the 2 would be a big help.

the bullets sound good...i just had my 3rd cat deleted and an xpipe installed on my LSC exhaust with flowmaster 40's mounted at the rear with short chrome tips...its sounds pretty good, no drone unless cruising in 3rd at about 1200RPM

Im putting the bullets on my car and getting from new xpipe back redone
