Dynamat

I could take a pic of my truck that is in the process of removing it. It probably wouldn't help you because whoever put it in did a bad job. They put two layers in some spots and didn't put an in others. I want to know the best way to remove this heavy sh1t.

Best of luck to you though. And if you do install the dynamat make sure your truck is sealed tight because the LS is notorious for leaking around the taillights.

Well a heat gun helps a lot to put it on, so wouldn't it make sense that it would also help to take it off? I don't know from experience though, I've never had to, or known anyone, that had to take it off. Not if it would leave any residue from the tar either though, or how much a PITA it would be to take off, but I'm sure you could find a product at Wal-Mart or a hobby store that would help with that residue. Maybe warming KY?

removing dynamat extreme is a total PITA, because the aluminum just tears and the never drying rubber just makes a mess especially when heated up
