So I was driving last night and after about 5 mins steering became a little rough, my first instinct was I'm obviously low on power steering. So I go right home and as I'm adding the fluid I realize it's filling very slow.. As soon as I turn on the car and start to reverse there's a huge puddle of the fluid under the car.. Has this happened to anyone before? Does this just happen over night ?

Yea... I've had the low and high pressure hoses replaced on my wife's LS over the years. The high pressure hose failed while she was driving and started a little fire. Sounds like your low pressure hose has failed.

Get under there and look!!

I had a big leak and it was cheap to fix. There is a P/S fluid pressure sensor that failed and leaked right thru the sensor. Only about $20.

Or a hose or a pump or the cooler.
