Due to the efforts of Eldest Daughter, I have been dragged into the 21st century. My new 'phone, a gift from her, is equipped with the latest of gadgetry, a digital camera.

Would anyone feel able to offer simple instructions---they have to be simple so I can follow them---as to how I convert a fresh 'phone photo into a posting here?

Email it to yourself. Or if you have a USB connector that goes to it, you can just plug that in and access the folder.

such an educated post yet you gave us no real information.

take a picture, send it to your email address.

Go into the email, view the picture and right click save as.

then host it onto a photo hosting site such as tinypic or photobucket and put the direct link into html img tags.
 
If you have a smart phone, you can get a photobucket app and upload that way.. Or you can text it to your photobucket account.. And take the IMG code from there and post here
 
I'm pretty sure there is an app where you can upload photos from your phone to your image host site like photobucket or flickr.

I've also read that the reason you dont post pictures up here is because you dont know how or they wont show up. All you do is when you snap pictures, if it's from a camera not on a phone, hook the camera up to your computer, transfer the pictures on to your computer, upload pictures from your computer to photobucket or one of your choice. Once the pictures are uploaded to the picture site, your picture will have an image code. Paste that image code in the reply box and your image will appear when you post your reply.
 
Thanks all. This thing is a HUAWEI. A 'smart-'phone' I guess with a whole touch-screen of 'apps'. I'll play with it and see how it goes.

What I had in mind was a direct-from-'phone approach since I've been told that there is something wrong with the OS in my computer and although I can email photos, trying to send them to a forum doesn't seem to work.

You dont send a photo to a forum, you just paste the image code/link. It's just like posting a link to a website, you just copy and paste it. Click on the link below, it will take you to my picture directly. When you paste a link to a forum to be shown on the forum post, " " will be added to the beginning and end of the image link, this will enable the link to be seen as the picture it represents instead of the link to the picture.

Lol really 14! how old are you brotha? well i just got the mytouch 4g pretty cool phone, im always gettin in trouble at work because im always on here reading post and burning the tomatoe sauce lol!
 
18.. Been working since I was like 12 (dad owns his own business).. I screw around on here all day.. Sometimes its from the laptop and sometimes its at the top of a 45 foot pole.. :lol:
