I had a good time at the show. Was VERY disappointed in the DUBS judges and staff thou. They did not seem to be to well informed or organized. We were told judging would start at 10am sunday morning before the crowds arrived. THEN we were told they would judge while the crowds were in the building. Asked how the mild and wild classes would be split. Reply "body mods".:confused: How many or if you had any?:confused: They were VERY short with answers and seemed like you were bothering when you had questions.

Fullsize mild 1st place Impala 2nd place Charger 3rd place ??????
Fullsize wild 1st place Charger (University Texas Longhorns theme) 2nd and 3rd place ??????

I searched for an hour after the awards were handed out to find 3rd place mild and 2nd and 3rd place wild. I couldn't find them. I first thought one or both of the 300C's won. I talked to the owners. They didn't and were just as confused as I was. We attempted to find a DUBS judge. They split he minute the trophies were handed out.:rolleyes:

The worst story thou was the Cavy that was NOT alloud to enter sport compact. The DUBS judges said "it was a domestic, so it would NOT be allouded to compete in sport compact. The f@#ked up part was. The winner of "Best Sport Compact".....'68 Camaro....WTF!!!!!!!!!

i'm into big wheels but never really got into donks. i like big wheels like on that camaro that's it fills out the wheel well nicely. nice piks, i like that charger
 
Sorry it didnt go to good for ya. That camaro is amazing but the charger in the second pic I think looks bad
 
nice, no girls!?!?!?! haha I think all of those cars are overdone, except for yours, the m3, and that black scion(but I guess thats DUBs style). TELL ME that Bentley isnt on bags PLEASE. That pink tahoe/suburban(i forget and dont want to go back up through the pics on this bad connection) needs some of his/her body panels lined up, lookin kinda salty.

If I were you I wouldn't go back to that show. If they are putting a Camaro in a Sport Compact category then evidently they do NOT know what they are doing. I have been to numerous car shows and if the judges and staff are clueless then you have no chance of competing.

I agree completely. I don't plan on showing with them, when they return to St Louis.
 
bentley on bags = idiots
camaro classified as a sport compact = lol
does that ridiculously modded scion actually work, id like to see the numbers on that beast, if it even gets traction
 
Its a Celica, not a Scion.

Whats wrong with a Bentley on bags? Im more disgusted by the wheels! It would look sick with 19's and sitting on the ground.
 
+1 on the cobalt. Rear end is NOT a celica. looks like a combination of the standard cobalt with the SS trunk lid. At least that's my guess...
 
Does look like celica headlights though. Must be one of them custom jobs :rolleyes:
 
That front end is definitely a Celica. I don't know what the car actually is but it don't look to much like a Cobalt at all. If you look at the door it looks like a Celica to, I might be wrong but even if it is a Cobalt it looks like a Celica...YUK!!!!

I also seen trunk jobs like that way before the Cobalt on many other cars from Hondas to farfromovein's.

There is so much custom work on that car there is no way to tell what it started out as. I know one thing for sure... the lights are not from a celica. The 00+ celicas had the headlight on the top and the yellow on the underside... like this
