Ok, so some of you may have seen my posts in the LS forum. I am the proud owner of an 01 LSV8. Well sometimes it pays to have the right connections. My cousin needs his 98 Mark VIII removed from his mothers property and is signing the title over! So I am now the proud owner of two lincolns, both with Black V8's and both sexier than I dream of genie! I'll have pics up soon. Im waiting on him to get back from Vegas to sign papers and hand over keys!

I'll have to get some of the sisters next to eachother.

On a some what related topic... can anyone figure out how to drive two cars at once? I'm gonna have issues picking in the morning!

Congrats man. Wanna drive em both, put a hitch on one and pull the other.

That sounds like a nice combination of Lincolns.

I'm curious to hear about the diference between the two from someone that drives both.

Waiting for the photos.:)

wtf 02asdfghjkl? no info about your 96 in your sig, why no lsc luv?

Good score Mang!

02LSE, why don't you drive the Mark much?

Jason is afraid to drive Mark he's done so well with his LS and spend enough on it that if he starts driving the Mark his wife is going to sell the LS LOL...... or there is still shavings in the engine LOL..

Oh and NHL... nice... now you have a car that you can actually mod a bit easier. LS is a nice ride but how the hell do you do work under the hood? There's no space, not that there is much more under the Mark VIII hood LOL... but there is some...

Congrats on the new acquisition Sully, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Mark.

Maybe after some bolt ons ?

Sean and I have discussed at some length what his plans for his LS are. They are similar to what I did with mine (boltons, then nitrous, then turbo). Yep, I highly doubt he will be getting rid of that LS of his anytime soon if he ends up doing those mods.

He just maybe decide to mod the mark instead after he drives it ;)
after all putting bolt ons on a LS

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Actually I wouldnt be surprised if I end up at the track once or twice with the mark just to see what she has. But she is going to be my "beater" of sorts while I work on the LS. Thats one hell of a nice beater! HAHAHAHAHAHA As for Jason.... nice pic! I need to clean them up a bit and I'll take one similar! Possibly a build of both in the next year or so. The LS will destroy many of its opponents, but I refuse to do the things to it to keep it legal at the track. So the Mark may end up as my track car and the LS just be my faster car. HAHAHAHHAHA

He posts in the Mark VIII forum and then refers to it as a beater! WTF!

So from my research the curb weight isn't much different between an LS V8 and a MARK VIII. So why soup-up the LS and not the MK8? Is it a money factor? Cheaper to do the LS than the MK8? Preference towards smaller cars?(Maybe should have bought a Honda!)

I'm just curious!

And ILLS, us diehard Mark guys enjoy a challenge, we love our cars, even with all the headaches they give us. Not to mention, their just soooo damn pretty!

the beater comment was in quotes for a reason! LOL And it is so much easier to mod the mark instead of the LS! Those of us who really want to can find a way to get parts for the LS, but there is next to nothing made for them. The mark on the other hand can use many of the mustang parts. While I love both cars. The Mark has no special place in my heart like the LS. The LS has been a dream car since they first came out in 99 as a 2000 model. The mark was the right price at the right time. Who in their right mind would turn down a free mark VIII. She'll run competatively at the track with an exhaust and CAI. Whats not to love! But like I said, the LS is my baby! ILLS is right though... by the time im done with the LS, she will be a demon, and redefine sleeper everytime someone wants to go!

oh and a side note.... I sold my 04 honda civic pushing 325hp to the wheels for my LS. It was time to get back into a ford and a V8..... man did I miss my stang! The LS more than fills that void in my life!
