Will a drive shaft from a 97 Mark work on a 94? I am gettin a vibration felt mostly in the seat. I found a great deal on a driveshaft from a 97 but don't wanna get it if it won't work.

The best possible thing you could do is call Denny's drive shafts and get one from them

For now if I could get a driveshaft for only $50 that would stop my car from vibrating at 70mph Id be very happy =)

that is the best but you only need one of those if you are quicker than 12s just get a one peace form a 93 and call it good. they will handel plenty of power.

Untrue.

The dennys shaft will solve 100% of your driveline related problems. It may cost more, but if you plan on keeping the car, invest in one. I have YET to ride in a markVIII that does'nt have some type of drive shaft vibe.

I wonder why the new Stangs have two piece driveshafts if they are so bad?

because it's a SEPERATE 2 piece shaft....... I.E., has a carrier bearing between 2 shafts. This effectivly gets rid of any potential resonance bynlimiting the shaft length.

The VIII's unit is a 2 piece unit, but its just a shaft pressed inside another shaft with a bushing between the 2. Total length is over 58" which is REALLY good at spinning off center at high speeds when it's made of weak material.

hence VIII 2 piece shafts = teh suck.

un true also i have no vibration from mine and i have a 2 pce allthough at 120 the front wheels do shake good.

I was talking to Geno not too long ago and it seems that Denny is making the MMX material Driveshafts anymore... Its going to be HD aluminum.

Geno said it will save you some dough and should be just as good.

It what I Am going to be running on my car!
