Driver's Seat Grinding

What's up fellas? Recently when I use my power Driver's seat to slide forward and backward it makes a grinding/rubbing noise. I've heard something about dampener clips. Would that be the solution/problem?

That's what I thought it was at first, but I keep the car very clean, and I checked. Nothing.

how bad of a grinding sound?...like motor grinding sound?...or just the eerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....sound...?...

It's the normal "errr" sound but it has like a 'gritty' tone to it. That's the best way I can describe it.

I BELIEVE the seat is moved forward and backward using a screw drive. Might want to pull the seat and get a look at it. Anything getting in the lubrication of the screw would have the potential to make it noisy.

Probably like any other seat - four nuts.

Lube the tracks up while it's out, too.
