Does anyone in the tampa area have a drive shaft for a 1997 mark viii. I heard a 1993 is the best to use. e-mail me mikesherman@usa.com or post how to get ahold of you.

they just put a 97 in the lkq yard in your area a few weeks ago. it might still be there with a shaft in it for the cheap. a 93 shaft depending on if its an early 93 is better in the sense that its a 1 piece shaft. really it translates to less vibrations at higher rpms. its mostly only needed/wanted if you are doing 4:10 gears or bigger. with gearing less then that you might not really notice any kind of difference.

thanks I try in the morning. I don't have 4:10 s but I have over 450 horse power 3:73 s

then id hold out for a 93 one piece it would probably be less prone to twisting and or warping breaking... 450hp hmm ill be by next weekend to go for a ride.
