Will these work in the Gen2 sport HID assemblies? Direct plug in?

Yes, those should be okay.
PHILIPS D2R 4300K should be the factory ones.

Yeah... The new one is slightly whiter... and the older one is slightly bluer... but has 220k on it.

Bought local out of desperation. I usually pass a trooper, 2 different county sherrifs, and at least one local enforcement officer in less than a month. Didn't want to be a target since I'm usually pushing the limit slightly.
