double din?

why does crutchfield say that the double dins wont fit in the ls? i know some of yous got a d3 installed..

Because they don't sell a double din bezel for the units.

ya like the frame. this has been asked numerous times before. just order it from them then order the bezel from ken.. i'm pretty sure he has it....

thats the double din kit from Ken... Im assuming for an aftermarket kit, you'd simply cut out the back of that and insert the new cage

That is correct. No one makes an aftermarket double din bezel for the Lincoln LS. You have to use the navigation bezel that came in the 03+ LS unless you want to custom make one. I have seen some car stereo shops charge LS owners $200-$300 to custom make one. The navigation bezel that we sell is a double din face plate and all you have to do is cut out the center part and it works. All for less than $71 shipped.

I got the one from Ken with the paint option.

Expensive but well worth it unless you can make your own custom bezel.
