I didn't say anything about mpg. My LS gets about the same mileage if not a hair worse then the Mark did before the converter/gears. I like the panther cars and have owned a Vic but the LS is more refined, faster stock, handles better and the trunk is big enough for me.

id just get the marauder for the cool gauges.... so I can moniter how much im overloading my alternator with 5 subwoofers and three 5000w amps.(ive seen it..with no cap)

That's what a warranty is for. I might do a tune and CAI but other then that it's my DD and is staying pretty much stock. Again I'm not knocking the Marauder, I like the car. All I was saying is for me the LS makes a better daily driver and got flamed over gas mileage.

The 3.9L is pretty reliable overall save the COPs going bad but that's not really any different to change then the mod motors. The LSs issues are usually not with the engine.
