Door lock switch

My driver's side door locks........however, not when you press the door lock button on the door. It unlocks from the keyfob and the passenger side door lock button though. I'm thinking I will need a switch. But before I go out and spend $45 on it, I would like to see if I can fix it. Any ideas? Otherwise, I'm probably going to wait until some rainy day and spend my money then.

Do the driver and passenger door share the same switch? Could you interchange them to verify?

Or try a junkyard part that might only be $5?

i've got the problem fixed..........i had to straighten out a pin in the connection.........thanks for the help!
