I would like to start fixing all the little paint chips on the hood. My question is can I fill in the chip with paint ,wet sand ,polish with compound then apply clearcoat and wetsand and polish the clearcoat. Am I better off just applying the base coat and filling in the indent with clear and wetsanding?. This is my first time trying this and could use some advise/direction. T.I.A.
