Will be doing the front and rear rotors, pads (ceramic), and stainless braided lines soon.

What will I need other than the above parts to complete this work? Any tips?

and we need to figure out a time and place to meet up so I can get my set from you. We're down to one car with the wife's car getting painted.... so its rough.

Turns out the landscapers showed up this morning so we're staying home this weekend. Give me a call and we can figure something out.

Rear caliper tool, a couple cans of brake cleaner, and new brake fluid (I went with full synthetic.)

Bummer, had a brake flush done at the dealer not that long ago so not looking to replace it all, just top it back up (hopefully won't lose too much of it)....before I decided to get all these parts.

What kind of fluid would the dealer use (they're closed today)?

shes at work right now... idk. something will happen. Im dying to get my brakes done. They need it BADLY!

I have one of the brake tool kits from Harbour Freight that has Ford fittings in it so just have to pick up some brake cleaner and extra fluid for topping up.

Any tips for ceramic pads so I don't get brake squeeling? The box says "Scorched - no break in required".....what does this mean??

gimmic.... the pads have to spread an even coat over the rotors to be broken in. nothing they can do from the pad factory will do that.

i need to do my brakes really bad to, i just noticed a huge groove in my rear passenger rotor. sucks too because im out in california for the summer and dont have any tools or nothing to do it myself. or the parts. whats a good rotor brand?

R1 concepts

I got drilled/slotted high performance on sale for $220 combined purchase :-D

There's a group buy on here from Rotorsplus. I got these earlier this week and they look good. They are Centric rotors and I've noticed a lot of the Mustang performance websites also sell Centric rotors.

So I got the rear brakes installed and the wheels back on so just need to bed the pads properly (ceramic pads).

What is the process for doing so? I read in other posts that you need to do a few hard stops? What speed should these stops be from and how many of these stops should do the job?

60-10 3 times

drive around for a few minutes while not coming to a stop to cool the brakes off

80-10 3 times

drive around again to cool the brakes off

done

you may have to do this 2 or 3 times, but be sure to not come to a stop the braes will seize
