Does anyone on here use FireFox 3 web browser

LVC loads 5 times faster on firefox than IE. I have opened both browsers and clicked on LVC just seconds apart, and am able to get to this thread on firefox, before IE opens the first page. Anyone else notice firefox being faster.

I have both browsers on my computer, I normally use IE simply because i'm use to it, Fire fox does load webpages faster though, I agree. Sometimes the pics & stuff doesn't always look right though.

try Opera or Chrome from Google, they're both even faster than FF.

The only browser other than my firefox I have seen faster is Safari, since it uses less to run the browser it is lighting fast.........

BTW have no fear There is a portable version of mozilla(what Chrome, FF, Safari are based from) that fits in a thumb drive or a cd and is "live" nothing to install or such great for policied out computers.

After reading this, I just switched from IE to FireFox 3. What a difference in speed. I have a 17" desktop replacement laptop. Two weeks ago I ordered and installed a second gig of Ram. Very noticeable difference. Two nights ago I priced a new 7200 RPM hard drive to go from 160 gig to 320. Don't really need it now. lol. I use Roadrunner broadband. I would never have guessed that simply swapping out IE for FireFox 3 could make such a difference. Thx. guys. Gary in Elmira, NY.

i use FF but it doesn tlike to attach images to emails or load stuff on photobucket. it is much faster but not reliable for doing stuff. I usually open IE when I get to something FF wont do, but primarily use FF..... anyone got a fix for this?

I've used firefox for a few years, safari for a little, but I still use firefox for 99% of things. I'm open to other browsers, I'll download opera now as a matter of fact.
