Does anyone know whats wrong?

My LS has started almost sputtering when at idle and sometimes when I'm driving. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does it will be normal for a few seconds then start to like vibrate and make almost a sputtering sound. The best way I can describe it is its almost like when you rev the car in park and the rev limiter kicks in and the car vibrates and you hear that sound out of the exhaust. Its almost exactly like that but not so extreme, also when it does it and I accelerate, the acceleration is horrible. Any ideas?

Have you checked coils....sounds like that may be the case.

Could be, it could even just be bad.

Mine was doing the same a few weeks ago, I had 2 coils out and had them replaced.

How exactly do you know if they are bad?

They can be stress tested by the dealer. Sounds exactly what I just went through with my car.
