Does an LS try to rev match the shifts?

When I have my LS in SST mode, it seems like the car attempts to rev match the shifts. It's most noticeable when going from 2nd to 3rd at full throttle.

Is this just some kind of quirk unique to my car? Or does everyone's do that as well?

Shifts are firm, and the tranny doesn't slip, so I am primarily just curious. Wondering if that's by design or a sign of something else I should be looking into.

I always thought rev matching was only for downshifting, but now that I think of it I remember some of the upshifts happening so seamlessly that it could have felt that way.

For me, the shift from 2nd to 3rd under full throttle literally feels like the engine cutting out, shift, then full power. No jerk, nothing.

Its the LS unleashing it's massive power! Lol, I don't ever use SST I don't down shift for crap so I just don't use it.
