do you think my aftermarket warranty will cover this?

I got those knocks and squeaks and rattles in my front suspension the LSs are known to get when high mileage kicks in. I also have an aftermarket warranty that says it covers the following related to suspension:

FRONT/REAR SUSPENSION: Upper and lower
control arms, control arm shafts and bearings or
bushings, upper and lower ball joints, radius arm
and bushings, torsion bars and mounts or
bushings, stabilizer bars, links and bushings,
struts, strut bearing plates, spindle and spindle
support, wheel bearings, variable dampening
suspension, compressor, control module,
actuator, solenoid, height sensor, and mode
selector switch.

My question is based on the usual crap that needs to be replaced to fix these common issues (knuckle, bushings, stabilizer bar etc)....what do you think my chances are of getting all this covered? All help is appreciated.

Seems like that warranty covers pretty much everything. I would get a diagnosis on the repair and contact the warranty company though to be sure. Some dealers will even get in touch with the warranty company for you.

seems like it but they are very SPECIFIC about what they cover. They ONLY cover those SPECIFIC named parts....nothing surrounding it. IS there another name for that malicious KNUCKLE everyones always replacing?

1. If the steering knuckle does not need to be replaced, then you don't need to worry about it...

2. See above...

Thanks...in order to diagnose these problems...do things need to be taken apart or is it a simple thing that the mechanic can diagnose without going all crazy and pullen parts and charging for inspection?

They'll have to charge for inspection, here its about 75$. Is it a Wynn's Warranty? If so be prepared for them to cover hardly anything. Worst 1,800$ POS ever. Seriously in all of the 5 or so grand of work done on my LS the warranty was used once, maybe twice. So, we ended up paying 2,000 on warranty, (100$ deductible) plus probably 4 grand on non-warrantied work. Summer of 05 I had a pretty bad bout with overheating, took forever to diagnose and resolve. In the first 4 months I had my car I got to drive it for about 2 weeks problem free.

Good luck with yours.

I have the estate coverage. Expires in Oct...never used it....or should I say they never covered anything. I want to see if i can get something out of them and I need to get my suspension checked due to knocks. I was just wondering if that list i posted is related to any of those knocks.
