I was thinking of making a throttle body spacer. I had a set on my Intrepid's 3.5 in the day and I thought they made a slight difference. Was I wrong? Should I make one or just forget it?

Its not worth the time, effort, or money. Pretty much anyone on any car forum will tell you the same. The "claims" companies make are complete horsesh!t.

they are good on carbs and with tbi, everything else is just a waste of money.

So, Your saying. Don't bother having my uncle make a spacer for me?

True

Yep...huge gains to be had from putting a throttle body spacer on a carburetor.

True

We are talking about a completely different type of induction system tho, the V6 in the LS is MPFI. Throttle body spacers would be useless.

Yea that's what we're saying. See if he can make you a new intake tube, shouldn't be hard, and/or make a custom shield for a conical filter. You could also do the poor mans intake mod and/or do a custom intake tube.
