I thought I read somewhere about a aerostars drive shaft fitting into the mark Vii. does anyone how true it is.

No. I have not heard this. What is it you are trying to do?

They won't bolt right in, but they are aluminum and would have to be custom shortened. Same for Crown Vic police cars.
